Le peintre américain Edward Gordon naît à Ocean City, NJ, en 1940 et obtient un BA de l'Université Rutgers. Dessinateur accompli, Il atteint une précision complète. Il sait adoucir les forts contrastes de l'image sans brouiller les formes, le dessin de contour parfaitement pour réaliser des détails incroyables... Il ne peut produire que 4 à 6 images par an. Au cours des 20 dernières années, il a reçu de nombreux honneurs dont l'Encyclopédie illustrée 2001, peintre de l'année par le magazine Spotlight et son travail est apparu dans l’American Artist Magazine, le livre North Light... Ses peintures et gravures sont incluses dans des collections privées, publiques.... Edward crée une beauté tranquille.
