Le peintre russe Gleb Goulubetski nait à Omsk en 1975, dans l'ex-URSS. Enfant, il fait preuve d'un talent artistique sous la tutelle de son père peintre à succès. À l'académie de Saint-Pétersbourg, son travail attire l’attention. Son Inspiration vient de la vieille Europe. Il voyage au Royaume-Uni, en Méditerranée, en Extrême-Orient et à Maui à la recherche d'images à peindre. Gleb accorde une attention particulière à la façon dont la lumière naturelle de la journée influence sa perspective. De retour dans son atelier à Saint-Pétersbourg, il examine son matériel de référence, se rappelle l'échelle, peint et transmet sa réponse émotionnelle au sujet, à la toile.

Russian painter Gleb Goulubetsky was born in Omsk in 1975, in the former Soviet Union. As a child, he showed artistic talent under the tutelage of his successful painter father. At the Academy of St. Petersburg, his work attracted attention. His inspiration comes from old Europe. He traveled to the UK, the Mediterranean, the Far East and Maui in search of images to paint. When he finds, Gleb pays special attention to how the natural light conditions of the day influence his perspective. Back in his studio in St. Petersburg, he examines his reference material, remembers the scale, paints and transmits his emotional response to the subject to the canvas with his palette knife.
