La peintre allemande Bettina Heinen-Ayech naît en 1937 à Solingen d’un père journaliste et poète. Elle peint très tôt et son premier tableau est d’un peintre ami. Elle fait ses études aux l’école des beaux-arts de Cologne et de Munich et à l’académie royale de Copenhague. Elle tient sa 1ere exposition à l’âge de 17 ans. Elle fait, par la suite, 87 autres expositions individuelles en Europe, en Afrique du Nord et dans les pays arabes. En février 1963, Bettina visite Guelma, ville algérienne natale de son mari et est très impressionnée par la beauté de la nature qu’elle peint maintenant depuis 47 années. Elle obtient, en 1976, le grand prix de la ville d’Alger et de nombreux autres.

German painter Bettina Heinen-Ayech was born in 1937 in Solingen to a father who was journalist and poet. She painted very early on and her first painting was of a painter friend. She studied at the Schools of Fine Arts in Cologne and Munich and at the Royal Academy in Copenhagen. She held her first show at the age of 17. She subsequently made 87 other individual exhibitions in Europe, North Africa and Arab countries. In February 1963, Bettina visited Guelma, the Algerian hometown of her husband, and was greatly impressed by the beauty of nature, which she has now painted for 47 years now. In 1976, she won the grand prix of the city of Algiers and many others.
