ANDERS ANDERSEN-LUNDBY
Le peintre paysagiste danois Anders Andersen-Lundby naît le 16 décembre 1841 à Lundby Hills à Aalborg, au Danemark. Il se rend à Copenhague en 1861 pour exposer ses œuvres, une première fois. En 1865, il épouse Thora Adelheid Børgesen (1842-1911). En 1870, il gagne en popularité en exposant des paysages d'hiver le plus souvent avec de la neige fraîchement tombée ou du dégel. Ce sont ses sujets préférés, avec lesquels il travaillera longtemps. En 1876, il s'installe à Munich, avec sa famille, et expose ses peintures au sud de l’Allemagne. Cependant, il aime sa mère-patrie le Danemark qu’il visite fréquemment et où il participe régulièrement à des expositions. Il meurt le 4 janvier 1923 à Munich.
Danish landscape painter Anders Andersen-Lundby was born on the 16th of December 1841 in Lundby Hills, Aalborg, Denmark. He went to Copenhagen in 1861 to exhibit his works for the first time. In 1865 he married Thora Adelheid Børgesen (1842-1911). In 1870, he gained popularity by exhibiting winter landscapes most often with freshly fallen snow or thaw, his favorite subjects with whom he will work for a long time. In 1876 he moved to Munich with his family and exhibited his paintings in southern Germany. However, he loves his homeland Denmark, which he visits frequently and regularly participates in exhibitions. He died on January 4, 1923 in Munich.
